Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

Draft template. This is a general-purpose starting point, not legal advice — have a qualified lawyer review it against your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR/CCPA obligations) before relying on it.

1. What we collect

Account information (email, name, username, password hash or Google account ID), profile photo, trading journal entries and screenshots, saved tools and calculations, and preferences you set in Settings. We also store basic session metadata (device/browser type, IP address, sign-in timestamps) for account security.

2. How we use it

To operate your account, pre-fill your calculators and journal with your saved preferences, compute your trading statistics, secure your account (e.g. showing your active sessions), and — only if you opt in — send you product or market notifications in the future.

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your journal entries, saved tools, or calculations with any other user or third party.

4. Third-party services

We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (password resets, email verification), Google for optional sign-in, Razorpay to process payments, and public market-data/news feeds (Frankfurter, Forex Factory, FXStreet, Investing.com, MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance) to power live tools — these do not receive your account information. We also use Google AdSense to display ads on the site, and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics to understand site usage; see Section 6.

5. Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can export a full backup or delete your account permanently at any time from Settings → Account, which immediately and irreversibly deletes your trades, saved items, and profile.

6. Cookies

We use two essential cookies that don't require consent: an httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in to prevent cross-site request forgery. We also store your cookie-consent choice in your browser. If you accept analytics cookies via the banner, we load Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (e.g. which pages are visited) with IP anonymization enabled; you can withdraw consent anytime via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. We use Google AdSense to display ads, which may set cookies on Google's behalf to serve ads and measure their performance, including ads personalized to your browsing activity; you can view or opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com, and learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your data. The Settings → Data Management and Account pages let you do all of this yourself; contact support for anything else.

8. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent via the contact form in Settings → Help & Support.
