How to use it

Using the Forex Heat Map in 3 steps

  1. 1Choose a timeframe — 24 hours, 1 week, or 1 month.
  2. 2Scan the top movers tiles for the biggest gainers and losers at a glance.
  3. 3Use the full grid to check any specific pair's move — darker cells mean a bigger move.

Why it matters

What this does for your trading

  • Spots which pairs are actually moving without checking all 28 major pairs manually.
  • Color intensity shows magnitude, not just direction, so you can tell a small drift from a real move.
  • Same live ECB-sourced data as the Currency Strength Meter, viewed pair by pair instead of currency by currency.

Settings for this tool

What you can customize via Settings

  • Settings → Region: Timezone controls what time zone the "Updated" timestamp is shown in.
  • Decimal places (Settings → Calculators) doesn't apply here — percentages always show at fixed precision, since this tool never displays a dollar figure.
