Strategies
Tag trades and backtest runs with a strategy, then compare live vs. backtested performance.
How to use it
Using the Strategies in 4 steps
- 1Click "New strategy" and give it a name — it's created inline, no separate form.
- 2Tag it on Journal trades as you log them, and on Backtest sessions when you run one.
- 3Come back here to see live Journal performance side-by-side with backtested performance for the same strategy.
- 4Use the comparison to see whether a strategy is actually holding up in real trading, or only looked good in the backtest.
Why it matters
What this does for your trading
- Turns "I think this strategy works" into a real win rate, net P/L, and R:R comparison.
- Flags strategies whose live results are drifting from their backtested numbers early, before more capital rides on them.
- One strategy list shared everywhere it's used — Journal, Backtest, Trading Desk's Trading Plan, and account creation.

What you can customize via Settings
- Strategies aren't affected by Settings — this is a shared list you build here and reuse everywhere a strategy picker appears.
